Nizoral is an antifungal. It fights different types of infections. They are skin infections, infections of the body and others. It may also be useful in other cases, which are not described here. You may use this medicine alone or in complex with insulin or others drugs. But it’s strongly recommended to not use it with prescription and nonprescription drugs, dietary medicine, herbal drugs, eplerenone, erythromycin, pimozide, rifabutin, triazolam, cisapride, alcohol, antacids, conivaptan, quinazoline, ergotamine, quinidine, terfenadine and others. If you have an allergy to Nizoral or to some components it consists of don’t use it. If you have an allergy to some drugs related to Nizoral such as Itraconazole you should also avoid using of it. You should be careful in using it if you have a hypochlorhydria, liver disease, alcohol dependence, fungal meningitis and others. If you are going to be pregnant or already pregnant you should talk about using of Nizoral with your doctor. You should also ask your doctor if this medicine could be compound with other drugs you are taking. You should have consultancy with your doctor before using Nizoral to prevent negative effects.
