Microzide is hydrochlorothiazide. It’s a thiazide diuretic. The main target of it is to fight edema by removing fluid from the organism. It can also fight hypertension. It may also be useful for other health problems, which are not described here. If you have an allergy to Microzide or to some components it consists of don’t use it. You should be careful in using of Microzide if you have liver problems, kidney disease, gout, asthma, diabetes, lupus, high blood cholesterol. It’s not dangerous for pregnancy and it doesn’t bring harm to a new born child. But if you are going to be pregnant or already pregnant you should talk about using of Microzide with your doctor. You should also ask your doctor if this medicine could be compound with other drugs you are taking. You should have consultancy with your doctor before using Microzide to prevent negative effects.
